Country:  Greece

Region: Peloponnese region

Grape variety:  Agiorgitiko and Moschofilero

This wine is made in the Nemea region of Greece, which is known for its red wines. However, Skouras Cuvee Prestige Rose is a refreshing departure from the norm. It is a light and fruity wine that is perfect for summer drinking. It can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of foods, such as seafood, grilled meats, or salads.

The Agiorgitiko grape is the main grape used in this wine. It is a native Greek grape that is known for its full body and fruity flavours. The Moschofilero grape is also a native Greek grape that is known for its floral aromas and refreshing acidity. The blend of these two grapes creates a wine that is both complex and balanced.

Skouras Cuvee Prestige Rose is made using traditional winemaking methods. The grapes are hand-picked and then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for a short period of time on the lees before being bottled. This aging process helps to round out the flavours of the wine and give it a more complex profile.

Tasting Notes:

Skouras Cuvee Prestige Rose is a dry rosé wine from Greece made from a blend of Agiorgitiko and Moschofilero grapes. It is a bright, light cerise colour with pink hues. The nose is vibrant and clear, with aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries, hints of flowers, and rose petal notes. The palate has a medium body, moderately high acidity, and the slightest suggestion of very ripe tannins. The flavors are consistent with the aromas, with a light sensation of sweet grass and bubble gum. The finish is moderately long and complex.
