Main Grape: Nebbiolo
The Garibaldi winery began at the beginning of the 20th century and has been producing wines for three generations. In those days, times were hard, and agriculture was not only a means of income but also a real pride for those who loved their land even though it made them suffer so much. It was normal for them to make sacrifices for the land they were brought up on.
This Barolo has a wonderful nose of red fruit, strawberry, cherry and berries with a hint of white pepper, typical of these crus and the land of Novello. On the palate it is dry with plenty of red fruit flavours and nuances of vanilla, spice and pepper, it is a wonderfully elegant wine and spends two years in oak barrels.
Excellent with red meats, and game, roasted meats and stews. An excellent meditation wine. After ageing this wine pairs remarkably with dark chocolate and chocolate puddings.
