About: Ludes boasts an exceptional location. Perched atop the famed Montagne de Reims plateau, the village is nestled amongst lush forests and delicate hillside vines.  A true piece of Canard-Duchêne’s oenological heritage, Pinot Noir draws its character from the nutrient-rich soil of the Montagne de Reims, the product of 70 million years of evolution and unique combination of limestone, chalk, clay and sands. 

Canard-Duchêne has the noble varietal of the Pinot Noir grape which creates the signature of the house wine style - giving structure to the wine and enhancing fruit notes of cherry, sour cherry, blackberry, redcurrant, strawberry and raspberry.

Tasting Notes:  This exceptional Champagne is pale gold in colour with delicate bubbles.  On the nose there are intense aromas of fresh fruit, typical of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.  On the palate it is fresh and the fruit balances perfectly with notes of buttery brioche and gingerbread.

Drink with fresh vegetable dishes, terrine or light chicken or fish dishes. Great as an aperitif.
