Domaine Girard: A Family Legacy in Languedoc Wine

For four generations, the Girard family has nurtured vines in the sun-drenched hills of Languedoc, France. Founded in 1928 by Jean Girard, the estate began with 7 hectares of traditional grape varieties. The 1980s saw a transformation under André Girard, who modernised the vineyard and introduced new varietals like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir.

Today, Philippe Girard, the fifth generation, carries the torch. Passionate about winemaking from a young age, he oversees 30 hectares and established the "Domaine Girard" label in 2000. In 2017, a new winery was built on the village heights, reflecting their commitment to innovation and quality.

Throughout their journey, the Girards have blended tradition with contemporary practices, crafting wines that showcase the unique terroir of Malepère. Discover their dedication and expertise in every sip.
