First released in 1997 Tanqueray Malacca is a soft citrus-forward gin perfectly suited for a variety of both classic and modern cocktails. Unfortunately the brand was discontinued in 2001 but due to the demand of bartenders and cocktail enthusiasts the legendary Malacca has returned after a twelve year hiatus. Miles away from a London Dry Tanqueray Malacca dials back the juniper allowing lovely floral and citrus nots to take the lead. Both the nose and palate offer bright nots of grapefruit lemon orange zest and white flower balanced by supporting tones of juniper and spicy cinnamon. A touch of allspice lingers through the finish.
