About:  Smokehead Sherry Bomb is a peaty Islay single malt that has well and truly earned its name.  Blasted by rich, sweet and spicy Spanish sherry casks, it has emerged as fiery, explosive, heavy hitting dram that has even turned our skill red.

Sherry and peat go toe to toe with Smokehead Sherry Bomb.  It's a well-peated single malt from an undisclosed Ilay distillery, matured in Oloroso sherry casks, boasting smoke and dried fruit by the truckload.  It's a powerfully flavoursome dram and unashamedly so.

Tasting Notes:  On the nose thick peat lets you know you've got a serious Islay single malt on your hands.  Then a fruitier, cremier feel - soft, rich oak, soothing custard and vanilla.  On the palate tie yourself down and wait for the hit of oily black smoke, with a rich, heavy mouthcoating peaty feel.  This is followed by the sweet sticky flavour of barbecued banana, tangy sultanas and dried fruits.  The finale means the peat returns along with some authentic Spanish sherry oakiness and a hint of sweetness then a final roar of peatiness hits your senses for one final time.
