Founded In 1894, Still Precided Over By The Toscanini Family With Winemaker Miguel Toscanini Now Heading Up Production. Toscanini Is The Most Awarded Winery In Uruguay. In 2013 They Won 13% Of All Medals Won By All Uruguayan Vineyards Internationally. Despite Being Within 40 Km Of Stagnari And Both Being Of Italian Descent The Wines Are Wildly Different And Show What Uruguay Can Do And How Wide The Variation Can Be. Almost Water White But With Hints Of Green And Yellow. The Nose Is Intense Passion Fruit, Mango And Peach Leading On To An Open And Supremely Approachable Herbaceous Mouth With Guava, Apricots And Poached Pear.
