Casa Santos Lima Sousao
Black fruit, plums and mulberry aromas, combined with chocolate and oak notes. On the palate, it is very ripe and concentrated, with an excellent structure, a long and persistent aftertaste.
Made from our best selection of Sousão grapes. Previously desteemed the grapes went through a low temperature pre-fermentative maceration for 24 hours. The alcoholic fermentation is done in stainless steel vats with temperature control between 26º - 28ºC, for 14 days. Skin contact maceration and cap (submerged) for 28 days. Four to six months ageing in oak barrels.
