Paco Garcia Garnacha - 750ml
Best red wine with Crianza from Spain - GVV 2020
94 points ABC Wine Guide 2020
100% Garnacha grape harvested manually and from our Las Canteras vineyard, a farm planted in 1986 with a north orientation and good ventilation. It is located 470 meters above sea level and has clay soil with small percentages of sand and silt typical of the Murillo area.
The harvest date is carried out by adjusting the ripening moment of the grape as much as possible so that the Grenache expresses its full potential. The grape grains are separated from the bunch and go to conical and inverted truncated cone tanks of 10,000 liters each, where they will macerate for 48 hours at a temperature of 7ºC. We then ferment (transform sugar into alcohol) at a low temperature. Due to the shape of the tanks and their capacity, we can work better with the skin and achieve a greater extraction of color and the elements that give body to the wine .
Once the second fermentation or malolactic fermentation is done, the wine is placed in 225 and 500 liter French and American oak barrels where it will remain for a period of 10 months . They are second and third use barrels since we look for the whole expression of the Garnacha variety without excess wood. Here the oxygen penetrates slowly and through the pores of the wood and rounds and perfects the wine.
What are you going to find?
A sexy wine, a fresh and jovial Atlantic Garnacha; full of red fruits, cherries, white flowers, orange peel, honey ... and a very nice, creamy, full body. With an intense and exotic cherry color that will make your senses vibrate. Drink it when you feel like it the most, alone or accompanied, in summer or winter, with your girlfriend or with your boyfriend, standing, sitting, dancing! on the beach or in the mountains. But always drink it at a good temperature (16-18 Cº) and believe, trust, love, because love moves mountains, and an impulse helps you climb them.
