The Intermediate WSET course is suitable for the wine enthusiast who wishes to learn a little more about wine and offers a more in depth study into wine, teaching the systematic approach to wine tasting and developing what you have learnt within the one day course. The course finishes with a multi choice test and if you are successful you will gain a certificate for a worldwide recognised qualification in wine and spirits.

The sun was shining on Liphook Golf club on Saturday 6^th March for the General Wine Companies Foundation Wine in a day course. The attendees were treated to a day with our wine expert Godfrey Spence, who holds the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) diploma and has many years experience tutoring wine courses. He introduced the group to the world of wine in the morning and after the lunch break, the group were able to try the wine for themselves. 12 different wines were tasted, which were matched to a selection of meats and cheeses. An enjoyable day was had and the group learnt quite a bit too!
