    Wine in a Day

    The sun was shining on Liphook Golf club on Saturday 6th March for the General Wine Companies Foundation Wine in a day course. The attendees were treated to a day with our wine expert Godfrey Spence, who holds the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) diploma and has many years experience tutoring wine courses. He introduced the group to the world of wine in the morning and after the lunch break, the group were able to try the wine for themselves. 12 different wines were tasted, which were matched to a selection of meats and cheeses. An enjoyable day was had and the group learnt quite a bit too!
