Our Clarets for Christmas have arrived...
Dich Oatley showing off one of the many new Clarets to have arrived in the Petersfield shopThe ground is unusually white, the kids are at home, Santa is on his way, and something French has landed at The General Wine Company
A fine selection of Clarets have arrived at the General Wine Company in time for the festive season. There is something to suite all tastes, palates and budgets from the crowd-pleaser that is the Chateau Pierrefitte to the lavish Reserve de la Comtesse de Lalande 05, or even more exciting, a few rare bottles of Chateau Talbot 98.
The turkey might be heading for it, but there is no need for your wallet to necessarily get a roasting this week.
However, we are of course still looking for a welcoming home for our 1928 Latour if anyone feels kind enough to find room in their rack for it..
We look forward to seeing you soon for a glass as you browse for a bottle.
