The original philosophy of seeking out great value wines from smaller producers still dominates and remains at the core of the Company.
The Company is still family owned, the stables are now a warehouse and carry some 1100 wines.
The initial focus on France has now extended to encompass the World, from both Old and New. Our strengths centre on France, Australia,and Chile with the Italian portfolio continuing to develop.
Recent additions to our portfolio include Castello di Poppiano, a Tuscan producer whose family continue to produce Chianti, a Super-Tuscan and wines from Morellino di Scansano. Their Florentine Estate centres on the family castle built in the 12thCentury to protect Florence itself.
The latest addition to our list is from Patagonia. Bodegas del Fin del Mundo demonstrate the continuing progress of Argentina. Their wines show balance with good fruit driven style, some complexity and varietal character. Their quality is matched by their competitive price.
